Our day starts with circle time where children are encouraged to identify feelings and practice acceptance of others' emotions. Often times, this will be the first time stepping foot in a school for many of the children. It may be the first time they experience structured play, having a teacher, sharing, and being in a classroom setting and we are very cognizant of that. Learn by play is the focus in this program. Children learn social skills, develop trust and loving relationships with caretakers and friends outside their homes. They will be introduced to learning in make believe play, story time, song, and dance.
