Kindergarten
Our classroom is filled with learning fun both indoors and out. The children are encouraged daily to identify feelings and practice acceptance of others' emotions. We are outside multiple times a day, learning through a variety of activities but also playing and burning energy. We're always thinking outside the box, fostering self-guided learning, and contributing to the class by cleaning up after ourselves. ​Math, science, art, and language are all taught through collaborative group learning styles.
Pre-K
Our Pre-K class begins their academic experience through sensory play, science, music, books, dance, letters, colors and nature. They are encouraged to learn through exploration and discovery, all while receiving the encouragement and consistency they need. Students continue to practice using problem solving skills in both an academic and social nature.
Preschool
Our class focuses on learning through play, science, sensory, song and art. Children learn best when they are having fun and able to express themselves by being creative.
Students' interests are the inspiration of learning. Empathy, problem solving skills, imaginative play and sensory experiences are encouraged in the classroom and on the playground daily.
Pre-School Prep
Learn by play is our focus in this program. Children learn social skills, develop trust and loving relationships with caretakers and friends outside their home. They will be introduced to learning in make believe play, story time, song and dance. We help children develop problem solving skills, labeling emotions, and begin to learn colors, shapes and letters through play. We use sensory play daily and utilize the outdoors when at all possible.

As a Firefly, your child will learn and grow both academically and emotionally through a variety of avenues. We are dedicated to providing a scholastic education while learning life skills, discovering nature, exploring the seasons, and engaging our imaginations.
Our days will be filled with art, science, sensory, music and play, all while developing essential skills and components of learning. At our school, learning is fun. We teach through whole group instruction, small group activities and through self-paced individualized instruction. Our teachers foster an environment in which students engage in independent and self-directed learning activities.
